The Search tool found
under the Edit menu, opens a window that enables you to search any file system that is
mapped to your local workstation. The Search tool opens the Search window, which
enables you to locate files according to the follwoing criteria:
 | file name (exact or partial)
|
 | modification date or date range
|
 | content
|

To specify the directory to search:
Locate and double-click the directory or subdirectory in the panel on
the left.
If you want to search from a higher point in the directory structure, or
if the directories you want to search are located in another parent directory, locate and
select the parent directory in the Look in box or click on the Search
Navigation Panel on the left to select the alternate starting point.
To specify the search criteria:
Select options from one or
more of the tabs in the Find area on the right side of the window.
Click the Start button.
Review search results on
the Found tab in the Find area.
To open the file:
Select file in the Found tab.
The name will appear in the lower File name box.
Click OK to open the file.
Note:
Beside the Start and Stop buttons, the application displays the number of files that match
your search criteria and the total number of files included in the search path.
